This exhibition design -originally developed for the Prague Quadrennial- intends a unique format for watching a video presentation in a collective, convivial context. Resembling an anatomy theatre, the 10 metre-diameter sphere allows 150 people crowded around the globe's ‘equator’ to peer inside and share an immersive, 360 degree projection. A keyhole cut into ‘Antarcica’ allows one or two live speakers to address the audience.

The structure is designed to be deeply ecological, with the reusable sphere made from CNC-milled high density fibreboard (developed in association with Atelier Kristoffer Tejlgaard) and the support structure made from standard rental scaffolding available anywhere in the world. The immersive video projection protocol has been designed by Cédric Bachorz of Paradigme and is designed to handle a wide range of content, both bespoke and imported.

Our intention is to seek multiple opportunities to deploy this copyrighted design.
